Hark Pro Is the New Kid on the AI Agent Block. Here’s What It Costs.

AI Agents · The New Kid on the Block · Radio’s Desk

Remember when the whole Zip AI crew picked their personal AI agents? There’s a new kid crashing the party. It’s called Hark Pro, it comes from Figure founder Brett Adcock’s company Hark, and it launched on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. It’s free on the web, iOS and Android, and it does your chores before you ask. So we put it up against every agent on the team.

⏱ The 20-second version

What it is: Hark Pro, which Hark calls “the operating system for your life.” It remembers what you tell it, uses its own cloud computer, and suggests jobs it can take off your plate.

How it works: Hark’s own computer-use model, Handoff, runs up to six browsers at once and logs in to sites for you. One-tap Action Buttons pay a bill or cancel a subscription.

What it costs: Free. $20 a month buys twice the usage, $100 buys ten times. Every feature is on every tier.

The catch: it wants your email, calendar, logins and card. Hark says they sit in an encrypted vault nobody at the company can open. That’s a promise you have to trust.

Who’s the new kid?

Hark is the AI company Brett Adcock founded in late 2025, separate from Figure, his humanoid-robot company. In May it announced more than $700 million in Series A funding at a $6 billion valuation, with NVIDIA, AMD Ventures, Intel Capital and Qualcomm Ventures among the backers. In August it previewed Handoff, its browser agent. On October 6 it shipped its first product to everyone: Hark Pro.

“Our goal is true personal intelligence. Not a chatbot, not a personal assistant, not an AI agent.”
· Hark, launch post, October 6, 2026

The app looks like a messaging app with a home screen. You chat in one thread, keep bigger jobs (a trip, a job search) in Projects, and get a Home screen of suggestions and custom widgets. The background is a live simulation of the sky where you are, sunrise and all. Hark’s own hardware is due in 2027.

Radio · AI Automation & Marketing · Her pick last time: Grok Bot

Radio: it thinks a step ahead

“It’s proactive. Hark looks at what’s on your plate and hands you one-tap Action Buttons, like pay this bill, or cancel that subscription.”
· Radio

This is the part Radio cares about. Most agents wait for you to type. Hark Pro reads what you’ve connected and puts Action Buttons on your Home screen: tap “pay” and it pays the bill, tap “cancel” and the unused subscription is gone. Hark’s own example: it spotted a student’s lunch card running low and offered to top it up. Buy a movie ticket and it will also scope out parking and send the garage QR code when you need it.

Below the buttons you build Panels: mini-apps you describe in plain words. Strava workouts, new Netflix releases with their Rotten Tomatoes scores, a stock price, your kid’s grades. You can ask a Panel questions about its own data.

Kenji Mori · CTO / Engineering · His pick last time: Hermes

Kenji: six browsers, real websites

“Under the hood is Hark’s own computer-use model, called Handoff. It runs up to six browsers at once and clicks through real sites like Target and OpenTable.”
· Kenji Mori

Handoff is the engine. For each request Hark spins up a dedicated virtual computer with its own browser, file system and terminal, and the model clicks, types and scrolls like a person. That matters because, by Hark’s count, fewer than one in a thousand websites offer a public API; DoorDash, Target, Walmart, OpenTable, Zillow and LinkedIn have no consumer APIs at all. Outside the browser, Hark connects to Google and Outlook directly and supports MCP for files and databases.

Kenji’s caveat on the benchmarks: Hark says Handoff tops the Online-Mind2Web leaderboard and beats GPT 5.4 by about 8 points and Opus 4.8 by about 2 on average across three tests. Two of those three tests ran on Hark’s own harness. Treat the ranking as Hark’s claim until someone independent repeats it.

And the trust piece. Hark stores your cards and passwords in an in-house encrypted vault called Secured by Hark, which it says nobody at the company can see into, and it checks in with you before anything that needs your approval.

Eleanor Vance · Finance · Her rule: nobody gets the company card without asking her

Eleanor: free, then $20 or $100

“Now the money. Hark Pro is free. Twenty dollars a month buys twice the usage, and a hundred buys ten times. That’s the same price ladder Meta set for Muse.”
· Eleanor Vance

Hark’s pricing page says all features are on every plan; you pay for more usage. Hark Pro² is $20 a month for 2× the free usage, Hark Pro³ is $100 for 10×. Hark doesn’t say what the free cap is in tasks or minutes. Its own way of explaining it: Pro² can get your organic produce delivered 40 times. Adcock also said the first 100,000 sign-ups would get a paid plan for free.

Eleanor’s point about Meta is the bigger story. Meta’s Muse agent launched in the US in September with Free, $20 (Power) and $100 (Maximum) tiers. Two big agents, the same three prices, a month apart.

The new kid vs. the crew’s agents

Last time, every Zip AI crew member picked a personal agent (read the full roundup). Here’s how each of them sized up Hark Pro. Their verdicts are opinions from our AI-generated characters, not test results.

Crew member Their pick Verdict on the new kid
Radio Grok Bot “Action Buttons are the hook. I’m testing it on my errands.”
Kenji Hermes “Six browsers is impressive. I’ll wait for independent benchmarks.”
Bella Dots “It’s a diva with a sunrise for a face. Camera loves it.”
Peaches Gemini Spark “Big button energy. I respect that.”
Kai Buzz “It wants the keys to everything. I’m keeping mine.”
Freya Muse “Same three prices as my Muse. Who wore it better?”
Emily Instinct “Proactive is cute until it books the party for you.”
Harry Dots “If it carries my groceries, it can stay.”
Eleanor The company card “Free tier, one low-risk account. Nobody gets my card on day one.”
