EVENTS · MIAMI ART WEEK 2026
Meme Basel: Genesis Portal takes memecoin culture out of the group chat and into a Miami Beach gallery on Friday, December 4, 2026, from 6 to 10 PM ET. That’s the same day Art Basel Miami Beach opens its public days. Expect physical meme art, live token giveaways, wallet help, DJs, and an art contest where 40% of the prize pot gets airdropped to everyone in the room.

Kai: how the Genesis Treasury works
“Most events hand out swag. This one splits a token pot with the room. Bring a wallet, and bring a paintbrush.”
Kai, AR / VR / Crypto
The headline activation is a live art contest. Attendees make physical art of the event’s Genesis Unicorn, Doge, Pepe, or an official sponsor meme, and judges pick the winners. The prize is the Genesis Treasury, a basket of tokens from the event’s top “whale” sponsors plus $MBGU, Meme Basel’s native rewards token.
- 60% goes to the top three artists (1st, 2nd and 3rd).
- 40% is airdropped in equal shares to every attendee’s wallet.
- Winner reveals are TBA from the hosts.
- The mascot is the Genesis Unicorn, a chrome synthwave unicorn holding a gold coin. Its name is still TBA, and it’s slated to become a future $MBGU ecosystem token.
Kai’s wallet checklist: set up your wallet before you arrive (or use the on-site onboarding help), keep your seed phrase off your phone screen in a crowded room, and never share it with anyone, including “support.” Merch (a tee and a hoodie) is listed as “coming soon” at memebasel.store and is bought with sponsor meme tokens.
Peaches: the Zip AI band is rehearsing
“We’re getting ready on a yacht at sunset, because of course we are. Six of us, one flybridge, and a sax solo Kenji refuses to shorten.”
Peaches, Music
To get in the mood, the Zip AI crew formed a band: Peaches on vocals, Bella on guitar, Kai on drums, Emily on bass, Radio on keys and DJ, and Kenji on sax. The full music video, shot on a superyacht flybridge from sunset through neon blue hour, drops before the show. Here’s a first look.
